Vector Control

HMI simple control
A Touch screen HMI with MCGS configuration software is used for communication with the main controller, allowing users to monitor the operation and fault alarm conditions of the MV variable frequency drives in a more intuitive way. Parameters and fault records are directly viewed via the touch screen. It also supports remote monitoring and a multi-language interface.

The RXPE MVC is a medium voltage multilevel converter constructed by the cascade connection of single phase H-bridge inverters in series to achieve the required medium voltage output. Each single phase inverter receive input DC power from it’s own isolated 3-phase rectifier, itself fed from a separate transformer secondary. Each rectifier and associated inverter is assembled into and identical power module. The input transformer is an integral part of the MVC cabinet with multiple isolated secondary windings to supply the power modules. Each transformer secondary is wound with a different phase displacement angle in order to achieve an effective high pulse number rectifier resulting in a significant reduction of input current harmonic distortion.

High Quality Output Waveform
A) The output of MV converter has a good sinusoidal waveform and low dv/dt, which do not damage insulation of motor and cables.
B) Do not need output harmonic filters, and do not require special limitation for the length of output cables. Since harmonic losses of motors are reduced greatly, that eliminates vibration of bearing and fan blades caused by harmonics.
